Perhaps it was coincidence, perhaps it was divine intervention (though, surely, in this case, a foul up on some lesser deity's part), but on the night of Friday, March 13, 2015, the three members of Dash Jacket found themselves all in California, and, more specifically, in Santa Ana, California. As such, they agreed to join their forces once again and play a show they were graciously and generously invited by Top Acid to play with Orange County luminaries Canyons, Palm, Reader, and Eye Seas. The boys had no time to practice, but their years of shambolic playing prepared them well for what ended up being an exceptionally shambolic performance in front of dozens and dozens of music-loving kids and weirdos and DIYers alike. Someone (Thom?) had the forethought to record this set--which, by the way, began roughly an hour after Paul, Thom, and Mat had first seen each other in months--and Dash Jacket has decided to release it on all you unsuspecting fans and detractors alike. So please, enjoy this near-40-minute (Ed. note: ?!??!?!) set, and relive that mega-fun night again and again, just liked you've always dreamed you could.
