Blah Blah was mostly recorded from January-April of 2009, in Mat's garage in Orange County, CA and Thom's bedroom in Arcata, CA. The only exceptions are "Blah" and "Pomegranate Lips," which were recorded by Thom in Arcata in Fall 2008 (before Dash Jacket was Dash Jacket). There are no drums or bass on this recording at all. Most of the album was recorded by one of us recording one track in Garageband and then sending it back and forth to each other over the internet, adding more and more layers until the song was done. This album incorporated a lot more loops and noise(y) bits.
